PAWTUCKET – Five community leaders have recently been selected to serve on the United Way’s community advisory board to lend their expertise, experience, and insight for a three-year term.
Among them is the city of Pawtucket’s Chief Equity Officer Charles “Chachi” Carvalho, along with Diana Capellan, co-founder of The Capellan Group, Paige Clausius-Parks, executive director of RI Kids Count, Frank Flynn, vice president of the American Federation of Teachers, and Weayonnoh Nelson-Davis, executive director of the Economic Progress Institute.
The appointments were announced at the United Way’s 97th annual celebration event, and United Way President/CEO Cortney Nicolato said she is glad to have them on board.
